Claire began studying psychology in 1991. After working for a few years and travelling, She obtained a Master’s in Educational Psychology in Counselling in 2000 and has been a registered psychologist since 2001. She has worked in a variety of settings since then including a not-for-profit counselling agency, AADAC, an Employee Assistance Program and private practice. Throughout her education and work experiences she has been honored to work with many amazing people to reach their goals. Claire works from a relational perspective and uses a variety of strategies that are evidence based, solution focused, and emotion centered.


Claire works with individuals and couples on the various issues that occur during fertility treatments, pregnancy, and the post-partum period. She also works with clients to support them through the grieving process when they face losses. She works with clients who have specific goals that they want to achieve, as well as clients who are feeling “unwell”, stressed, overwhelmed, lonely, irritable or sad.


In the process of becoming a mom to her two boys, she learned first hand the emotional roller coaster of trying to conceive, and then the changes that happen in our relationships, to our priorities and to our sense of self through the process of becoming a parent. This personal process developed a passion for; understanding the critical parts of a healthy co-parenting relationship, making meaning out of this transformative time, and finding creative ways to “have it all”.


Claire is a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists' Association of Alberta.  She is also a member of EMDR Canada.
