In the event you need to cancel your appointment, 24 hour notice must be given or you will be charged 50% of the cost of your session. In the event of an unforeseen illness and/or injury, no charge will be incurred.
Payment may be billed directly to third party insurers, as per their policies, or by the client directly after each session. Our office accepts debit, credit card, cash or cheque. Payment is expected immediately within 30 days upon receipt of invoices. You will receive a receipt upon payment for insurance or income tax purposes.
1 Hour Sessions - consist of 50 minutes of direct counselling and 10 minutes for file maintenance
90 minute Sessions - consist of 75 minutes of counselling and 15 minutes of file maintenance
Psychologists in Alberta are governed by the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), which includes governing patient/client confidentiality. In accordance with these regulations, your information is protected and only released under the following conditions:
· written authorization by yourself,
· legal court proceedings
· in cases of risk or harm to self and/or others or with respect to any risk or harm to children.
